Ground Rod - Attempt 1

Trying to plant a ground rod into solid rock. Didn't work so well!

    you can create a nice ground by trenching horizontally from whatever ground rod you could get in, and running copper #8 in the trenches. I remember the radio astronomy boys filling the trenches with salt and charcoal around the copper line before they buried it. You probably don't need a true RF ground, just good enough to dissipate a strike, but horizontal runs of copper will do just that.
