| Scene Type | Directly Photographed | Caption | After buffing most of the paint and rust off of the old angle iron, I tacked the end and rolled the roof off, tacking as I went. The result ended up a bit wavy, so I'll probably cut a few of those welds and tweak, but the roof moves VERY smoothly! We were getting 30 MPH wind gusts and this never noticed (can't say the same for the inside of the observatory!). A far cry from when I first put up the rails and they would vibrate in the wind! |
