Removing the Second Rail Section

This one was the highest section and dropped off the bucket. You can see the disintegrated part of the rail cap, but underneath, the rail is still in good shape. I'd also forgotten that I'd shimmed those top rails up to level everything as the rails sagged and moved a bit as they dried out.
