Finished Opening

I had to trim back the stud on the left side and the scrap of wood used for nailing the siding to the right side. Luckily, the rail comes in below the top plate of the wall. You can see the gap between that and the plywood floor of the top, with the layer of black tar paper that covers it. That's where I'll be fishing the lighting wiring down the tube.
