Mounting the Pier Plate Adapter

Various views of the new pier plate adapter installed on the 12" pier plate. I only had my cell phone with me, so the pictures aren't the greatest. Note the badly faded pier plate from before completing the observatory. Also note that I had to add washers to the screws as they were bottoming out in the holes and not clamping the plate down. The previous pier plate used shoulder bolts.
