TXMOST Closing

On Friday, March 16th, 2018, we had our last star party at the Texas Museum of Science and Technology's tempoarary location in Cedar Park, TX. In January, the museum Board of Directors chose not to renew the exhorbitant lease that they were paying on the old metal indoor soccer building they had been renting as the temporary home of the museum. Thus, today, Sunday the 18th, will be the last day the museum will be open. The goal is to work on fund raising towards the permanent location rather than giving all of the donations to a landlord for a poorly maintained metal building that didn't look much like a museum from the outside. It's unknown when the museum will reopen in a new location.
