Nikon Adapter Rev 2 and Focus/Zoom Motors
After the initial success with the Nikon to QHY247C adapter, I made a revised version with a dual saddle base, which I used on my 11" NexStar GPS during the 2017 Solar Eclipse. I messed up the dimensions on the Losmandy clamp and had to re-print it, but during that exercise I also developed a nicely packaged gear drive system for focus and zoom control of the lens using my same Arduino design. I've had some successful photography sessions with this, but am going to redesign the motor controls to completely capture the body of the lens and prevent the motors from pushing the lens off-axis.
