M8 - Lagoon Nebula Core - 150720

The Lagoon Nebula (M8 or NGC 6523) is a large emission nebula in the constellation Sagittarius. This shot of the core is a stack of 63 five-minute subs (5.25 hours of exposures) taken with my 11" Celestron Edge HD and 0.7x focal reducer using the Celestron Nightscape CCD. The images were stacked in DSS, processed in StarTools and finished in PhotoShop.
