Encoder Disk After Polishing

After polishing with a Comet Cleaner covered Q-tip for quite a while I'm down to only one deep scratch right along an encoder slot line. After painting with acrylic finish, it's hardly noticeable. There's a bit of contamination so I need to clean it completely and try again, but looks like I might have saved the encoder wheel. Now just to get a new set screw in there.
