Mercury Transit - 160509 - 4 Minute Animation - 800x800

After spending a lot of time culling the best images from in between all the clouds at approximately four minute intervals, and then aligning and rotating them (a second time!) to take out the drift and the rotation from the alt-az mount, here's an animation of all frames together showing the progression of the transit. Note the slight movement of the sunspots as the Sun rotates. This is a reduced size video at 800x800, which eliminates the blockiness from the conversion in Any Video Converter.
