Mercury Transit - 160509 - 4 Minute Animation
After spending a lot of time culling the best images from in between all the clouds at approximately four minute intervals, and then aligning and rotating them to take out the drift and the rotation from the alt-az mount, here's an animation of all frames together showing the progression of the transit. The wobble isn't real, but rather a function of the alignment and rotation and to some extent, atmospheric variations of the frames. This is the full size video at 1700x1700 (although the first block of frames from JPEG had to be enlarged slightly as they weren't at the same resolution of the raw frames). I haven't been able to get Any Video Converter to not make some of the frames blocky.
