Eclipse Totality Corona
This is a stack and pseudo HDR merge of a total of 14 frames taken during totality using my QHY247C with the Sigma 300 mm zoom at 1/20th and 1/50th of a second exposure. There were quite a bit of hazy clouds that start to show up once you stretch the images enough to see the limbs of the corona, so performing a median stack of all of the images both eliminated the lunar variation as it moved across the Sun and reduced the cloud cover to a general glow. Regulus is clearly visible to the lower left.
